FINAL REFLECTION

1. Can you see an improvement on your level of English in these last two years? 

Where, for example?

Yes, because for example in this post, it's from 4th ESO. We can see the different level from this other post, that it's from this year. Now I have more vocabulary, lightness with the writing. 

2. Which activity best shows your level of English? 

In my opinion the post that shows my english level was this. This post it's from when we went to London. Here I explain what we done the first day in London.

3. Which activities were really USEFUL for you to improve your English? Why?

I think that the activities that are useful to improve our level of English are the news. Because when we do the post we need to read the news, understand it and we search the words that we don't understand. And then we paractice writing, and make summaries in English. 

4. Which activities did you not find useful to learn English? Why not? 

In my opinion all that we work in the class it's beter for our English. But maybe the songs was which serves less. Maybe we learn some words but it's a little bit tired. 

5. Which activities would like to do again next year to keep on improving your English? 

I think that next year we will do more your-says, because it's when you we let to fly our imaginations.

I like do blog, but would be nice that the most serious errors that I do in the writing coment me the errors and then I can correct it in my future posts. 

ORAL PRESENTATION - FAMILY

Silvia, Carla and me (Mireia), we did a oral presentation about Family. 

Now, I'm going to do my self-evaluation.

     PRESENTATION (10%):

In this presentation we use a prezi, and inside there was photos. 

The presentation lasted 12minutes and each person spoke 4 minutes more or less. We speed a lot of time doing the prezi. 

I think that my mark in this section was a 8% because the prezzi was very well.

     BODY LANGUAGE & EYE CONTACT (10%):

In this presentation I read very time, to much. I was very nervous.

I think that my mark in this section was a 1%. In this presentation I haven't do it very well because I read much and don't explain to the classmates. 

     STRUCTURE (10%):

All information are well placed. Definition of the family, divorce, tipes of divorce,... all was well organized. 

I think that my mark was a 9%.

     CONTENT (40%):

In my opinion, I think that we can use more specific words. But everything was more or less good explained. 

I thin that my mark in this section was a 30%.

     LANGUAGE (20%):

We used a language more or less basic. But there were some things we had not finished unless the internet to understand, and should have explained our words.

I think that my mark in this section was a 10%.

     PRONUNTATION & INTONATION (10%):

I think my pronunciation is good, but improved. But in this presentation have not shown much.

My mark was a 6%.

My final mark is...     6.4%. 

REVIEW: LOL

This film deal of teenager with problems of this age. Boyfriend, friend, high school,...

Deal about the life of a teenager who has problems with the boyfriend, and cut the end of his best friend falls in love with ex-boyfriend. They pass very time together. But then pass a different problems that distansia a bit.

In the movie, we can see the life of the mother, as is diborced, but then something happens with ex husband. But the end she come across with a man, that makes she happy. 

It's areally good film. There is also the American version, if I'm not mistaken. That came before it. But in my opinion, and having seen both. I like this much. 

Hope hus want to come see it!

VILANOVA'S HOME

Later this month my sister went to live in Vilanova de la Muga, because my grandmother have a home there. When my grandmother was little, she live and grew app in Vilanova. 

My sister few poor days, she live in Santa Margarita, but now she and his boyfriend was cleaning and painting the home. They are very happy and with much ideas for change the home. 

I hope that they put in the garden a swimingpool, because then in summer I can will go to swim. 

I wish that they was very happy in this "new" home. 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Today I went with my family to celebrate the birthday of my grandmother. She done 72 years old.

She stay very happy celebracte her birthday with ours. 

We went to lunch to "La Parra" is a restaurant that this stay in Sant Climent. 

In the restaurant I lunch mushrooms and prawns, the second dish: chicken with chips and the dessert: ice cream of chocolate, cream and vanilla. 

Then my daddy, my mum, my grandmother and the boyfriend of my sister, take coffee. 

And before went to home, we give her present.  Money because she bought clouths. 

I hope that she has gone well! 

"WE'LL BE HAPPIER IF WE WORK FEWER HOURS AND HAVE MORE FREE TIME. WE'LL SOCIALIZE WORE AND CAN DO WITHOUT PILES OF CONSUMER GOODS THAT WE HAVE NEED FOR!"

The consumers goods, money, work,... you don't need all these things if you are happy and have friends. Nowadays, people think that spending is their life. But I throw a question, What do you need to be happier? In my opinion we cqan not buy happiness. Clothes, phones, computers, cars,... all the material things only shift your life. 

Firstly, we don't need all these material things. Because developing countries or poor countries don't have all these goods, but they are happy.

Secondly, the companies brainwash and put their publicity in ours minds. They say If you have this car, you are cool... They push to buy, buy and buy.

To sum up, I need to say again that we don't need material things to be happier. We can search happiness in other sides and not shopping.

Last summer I worked with another company that I do all the accounting, because I have a title, and I do all the things related with numbers, too. I have the mathematic degree.

VOLLEYBALL

Yesterday was the last day that we volleyball's train. 

We enjoy it much, because some girls, next year don't play volleyball, because the study are most dificult and we don't have much free time, and we need more time to study and do the homework. 

And yesterday the trainer made some muffins with ours numbers. 

              

And on 15th June we held a dinner we finished the season and we've had great. We dinner will be at X Bar, on the beach of Rubina. And they will mounting a network there in the evening to play volleyball for a while. 

We had a good time together. 

             

BAD WORDS

I don't know why in the songs, the singers have to say bad words; F....ng, b...h, s...d,... And more more more words. 

But then the kids listen this words and when they are with his friends they were saying, without knowing the meaning. And you listen kids on the street saying that and you think OMG! Who children know these words, can not be. 

In my opinion, I agree that when you write a song to express your feelings, your emotions. But careful with the words you write, sing and then everyone feels. People of all ages.

Don't say bad words. 

ARE YOU "PRECRASTINATOR"?

A lot of social networks while Facebook, Youtube,... have been described as a procrastinator's dream.



Dubred "precrastination" the researchers from Pensilvania claim that hurry up to complete a task is more commun than first thought, even if it's harder to do.
Most of us we have many things to do, and have a pice of paper with pending tasks, in our mobiles, but also in our heads.
The resarchers found news experiments, with this experiments were able to rule out various potencial explanations about the experiments. Much of people say that wanted to save physical effort and go faster. But what we didn't realize was that they made more effort and take more.

In my opinion, that when er do something, we want it fast and we try to save work, but sometimes we work more than me relize. My advice is that before you do anything, stop a moments to think about how to do it. We will do our best.

WRIST WATCH

Microsoft is developing a smartwatch to complete it before apple does. In this wrist watch you can use it for fitness tracker, music player, phone,... But nothing has been officially confirmed. The smartwatch was filed in 2012. It's belived that the creator of Nokia is who runs Microsoft's Devices division.
Google plans to take this summer the smartwatch, with a range of Android watches, while Apple has been rumored ro be developing a smartwatch.
The Microsoft watch is belived to have differents colors for the watches: red, black, blue and yellow. It's also thought to be made of oxynitride aluminium.
Some gadgets such as Nike's FuelBand are designed to measure physucal exercise.
In conclusion the smartwatch willbe a revolution in the electronic market. But then mobiles sales will fall. And a lot of people have or want to have one wristwatch.

Do you never thought you really mean icons iphone?

I do, so I searched the meaning. 

1 - be angry icon in Japanese culture. 

2 - "Wakaba" or indicative of novice driver. 

3 - This symbol represents a Ciclón. 

4 - Good Luck or of fortune. 

5 -  is the symbol of corriendo leave, with the Cloud polvo of deja behind that. 

6 - hot Food. 

8 - green represents envy a violent Heart. 

9 - Yellow means Celebrities person honest heart.  

10 - Purple Heart means it is a forbidden love.

 There are many more icons, but these are some of the meanings I found. If we look as we realize that the implementation of whats app have released the Japanese, since almost all the icons have a Japanese meaning. 

EASTER (2)

Aside from going to Lourdes at Easter also went to Futuroscope is a theme park simulators. Are some attractions in Cadiz you put your glasses to see 3D, 4D and even 5D and the seats move. If you get wet you persontge mulles a little foggy if smoke comes out ... funny stuff.
The day we were at Futuroscope, we slept in a hotel that was very near the park. The rooms in this hotel were topics. Each room is different is mistaken. A matter of submarines, another north-pole ... many kinds. And we played the jungle. Very funny really. The beds semblaben that estiguesin made ​​bamboo wall there was a paper with a drawing of trees representing the forest. It was very well done. 


Actually I had a great time which is most important. Only if I had to go back there, there would drive many hours as they are. And like it or not you get tired.

NEVER GIVE UP

I really enjoy this video. When I saw that I said... Wow! It's impressive. EASTER (1)

For Easter, I went to France to spend a few days in Lourdes. 
My dad really wanted to go there for his birthday and we gave him the ride. But also because I could go, was paid to go there for Easter.
We visited many churches, which have in there. We light candles. We walk. We went to midnight mass. We made many bowl, but this was a little tired in there all day. So we took a train back to who gave you the Loures, the people. So we did a change of views. 
Being Easter, we thought that there would be many. But no. Otherwise we were surprised that you did not have to queue or anything. 
Bastan was eight. 

I had already been there. I went there once when I was little with my grandparents. I was there when menrecordava some other things but I do, like my parents. 


The truth is that we really liked that we had a good trip. The only thing is that there were many hours by car.

HOW TABLETS AND PHONES BEFORE BED COULD LEAD TO A STROKE.

People who suffer from insomnia are more likely to suffer a stroke. Young people are more likely to surffer from it. People did a study to see how many people suffered from imsomnia.
They discovered that 18 to 34 years olds are more likely to have a stroke if they have insomnia. People over 65 years old, when they were young. They had so many possibilitis to suffer a stroke. But with age they have many also suffer a stroke.

Lopes said that young people are bulnerable to insomnia because they always have the mobile, ipads,... internet connections. They said that we need to sleep more and disconnect from all electronic things and we need to clean up our habits because we can be a chronic insomniac state.
But bad luck the study does not explain how insomnia and stroke may be linked.

In my opinion when it's bedtime, we should disconnect all the electronic things and don't keep the mobile near the bed because they release radiation.

LONDON - day 4

Last day in London! The trip was great, but today we are returning home. 
We got up early and wanted to go shopping. But we found that on Sunday the shops are closed and do not open morning until midnight. This bothered us a bit, as we had raised to buy soon and everything was closed. So we went to Starbucks and we take a cappuccino. There mitted to a sofa there, we did mentrastant london quiz. 
The finish went up to Oxford Street and we went back to the store upon finishing holliester we wanted to buy some things. 

We only had 10 minutes. It was a fast entered the store, grab it and go on the subway to go to the hostel where we stayed all.
Then we went to an airport. But it was not the main thing. It was a petitonet. And we flew to Barcelona. And when estavema high flying aircraft was already upon finishing his journey, and return to the normal routine. 


Now if I go back with fond memories of London and really looking forward to going back there.

LONDON - day 3

The Saturday was the day, that we woke up later because until 8:30 am we could not go to breakfast. When we finished eating and dressed, we got on the underground and went to see Covent Garden market. It's a beautiful market, it's a place to meet with friends, I got the feeling like it was a very familiar place. When we arrived at the market we had free time to see the market and the shops that were near to the market. 

The shop that I liked the most wasJack Wills. In this shop I bought a bracelet and a cover for my mobile. 
Atfter the time that we had , we returned to the place and got on the undergroud again. Then we visited again a market but this market was Camden Town Market. I think that it's the biggest market I've ever seen. There was a food market and clothing market. When we arrived at Camden town it was very different from London city. It's like 
another world a beautiful world and a gothic world. But all places had views. We ate fish and chips, and the truth is that it was good. We spent the afternoon circling the market.
But at night we went to see a musical called Once. I didn't it, I loved 
the music and also I understood, what I thought it would cost me. But 
it was a beautiful experience. Who knows when we will have another 
opportunity to see a musical in London.

When we finished watching the music as it was the last night in London we wanted to and do more, we went to see China Town at night. The truth that I saw here were transvestites or gay pubs. It was a lot of fun and it was worth the visit.
Then we got on the underground again until the stop Elephant and Castle and we returned to the hostal to sleep. But we were very sad because tomorrow was the last day in London .
