FINAL REFLECTION

1. Can you see an improvement on your level of English in these last two years? 

Where, for example?

Yes, because for example in this post, it's from 4th ESO. We can see the different level from this other post, that it's from this year. Now I have more vocabulary, lightness with the writing. 

2. Which activity best shows your level of English? 

In my opinion the post that shows my english level was this. This post it's from when we went to London. Here I explain what we done the first day in London.

3. Which activities were really USEFUL for you to improve your English? Why?

I think that the activities that are useful to improve our level of English are the news. Because when we do the post we need to read the news, understand it and we search the words that we don't understand. And then we paractice writing, and make summaries in English. 

4. Which activities did you not find useful to learn English? Why not? 

In my opinion all that we work in the class it's beter for our English. But maybe the songs was which serves less. Maybe we learn some words but it's a little bit tired. 

5. Which activities would like to do again next year to keep on improving your English? 

I think that next year we will do more your-says, because it's when you we let to fly our imaginations.

I like do blog, but would be nice that the most serious errors that I do in the writing coment me the errors and then I can correct it in my future posts. 

ORAL PRESENTATION - FAMILY

Silvia, Carla and me (Mireia), we did a oral presentation about Family. 

Now, I'm going to do my self-evaluation.

     PRESENTATION (10%):

In this presentation we use a prezi, and inside there was photos. 

The presentation lasted 12minutes and each person spoke 4 minutes more or less. We speed a lot of time doing the prezi. 

I think that my mark in this section was a 8% because the prezzi was very well.

     BODY LANGUAGE & EYE CONTACT (10%):

In this presentation I read very time, to much. I was very nervous.

I think that my mark in this section was a 1%. In this presentation I haven't do it very well because I read much and don't explain to the classmates. 

     STRUCTURE (10%):

All information are well placed. Definition of the family, divorce, tipes of divorce,... all was well organized. 

I think that my mark was a 9%.

     CONTENT (40%):

In my opinion, I think that we can use more specific words. But everything was more or less good explained. 

I thin that my mark in this section was a 30%.

     LANGUAGE (20%):

We used a language more or less basic. But there were some things we had not finished unless the internet to understand, and should have explained our words.

I think that my mark in this section was a 10%.

     PRONUNTATION & INTONATION (10%):

I think my pronunciation is good, but improved. But in this presentation have not shown much.

My mark was a 6%.

My final mark is...     6.4%. 

"WE'LL BE HAPPIER IF WE WORK FEWER HOURS AND HAVE MORE FREE TIME. WE'LL SOCIALIZE WORE AND CAN DO WITHOUT PILES OF CONSUMER GOODS THAT WE HAVE NEED FOR!"

The consumers goods, money, work,... you don't need all these things if you are happy and have friends. Nowadays, people think that spending is their life. But I throw a question, What do you need to be happier? In my opinion we cqan not buy happiness. Clothes, phones, computers, cars,... all the material things only shift your life. 

Firstly, we don't need all these material things. Because developing countries or poor countries don't have all these goods, but they are happy.

Secondly, the companies brainwash and put their publicity in ours minds. They say If you have this car, you are cool... They push to buy, buy and buy.

To sum up, I need to say again that we don't need material things to be happier. We can search happiness in other sides and not shopping.

SCIENCE EXPERIMENTATION

Are the science experiments good or bad? All people have a differents opinions on this topic. But who knows the correct answer?

On the one hand, the progress of humanity help a lot of people when are ill, when have cancers, when need transplants,... Moreover with tecnology now we can be walking in the street and the same time was talking with a mobile phone, when only do 30 years ado it didn't exist. 

On the other hand, the progress of humanity use the animals for experiments, the new medicine, painkillers..., that hey created. And usually they die with the second reaction. Furthermore the tecnology have radiation and is harmful for your life. 

To sum up, I think that some experiments are bad for our life, but without all experiments, medicine or tecnology, we aren't stay where we are now on the progress.

The presentation lasted 13 minutes and each person spoke 5 minutes more or less.

I think that my mark in this section was a 10% because the prezzi was very well.

I read very little, but now I stay still in front of the classmates. And I was very nervous.

I think that my mark in this section was a 7%. I need move more and be more safe with what I do.

     STRUCTURE (10%):

All information are well placed. But maybe we wrapped too much with what can go to see or visit in Australia. 

I think that my mark was a 8%.

     CONTENT (40%):

In my opinion, in this presentation need more explanation of the images that we put it.

I thin that my mark in this section was a 30%.

     LANGUAGE (20%):

We used words that were relasted to this topic. But can be improved.

I think that my mark in this section was a 15%.

I think that I improved in speech and pronuntation.

MY GAP YEAR

I'd like to travel to South Australia, I like this job because i love the animals and this is a oportunity to help the animals and life a wildlife experience in a paradise. 
If I'll go there, is a free trip (there during your stay). After weeks, I'll travel to Thailand and work again with the elephans. 

More information about this trip is that I'll stay in South of Australia 2 weeks, in Kangaroo island. There I'll go to sleep in a shearers, all meals are included,... And then I'll stay in Thailandia 3 weeks, where include acomodation, where I'll live in a bamboo huts or basic home, the meals are included as for itinerary,...

I'll travel there from 20 April to 30 of June. 

This is an opportunity to do one of the things I like working with animals. And to enjoy a different kind of life, we can say more wild. I wish I could do one of these last trips a day, when upon finishing their studies. Travel and to help people, animals, ...

DESCRIPTION OF A PERSON

Now I'm going to describe my sister Cristina. She was born in 19th of august 1992. Now she is 21 years old, four years more than me. Yet two years, she lives in Santa Margarita with his boyfriend, Jordi. Cristina last year, was built her chiken farm, in this farm bring the chickens when there are small,  she gives food and after 45 days have all gone. And she have another farm, but this is the hens farm, every day on the farm to collect the eggs that the hens are placed. And it will deliver to stores. Sometimes the natura shop call him because there is going to work a few days, but the rest works in their farms.

A good description of how it is physically Cristina. She is a tallish woman and has a good figure. She has a little plump face. Her eyes are dark brown and she's wearing a glasses or sometimes a contact lenses. Her smile is beautiful and her nois small. She's dark-skinned are very different of my pale skinn. Her hair is a long and red. Slightly wavy.

But Cristina inside are most difficult describe. I'm sure of is that she's very different of me (similar of outside). She's an active person. When it wants to be hard working and responsible, but sometimes, she's a bit aggressive and creazy. But she's generous and self-confident are her assets. 

I think that she wears the pants in her family, with his boyfriend. In my opinion, never could have asked a better sister. She's perfect for me, and never change it for anything. She's very important for me, she helps me, cares me, loves me,... We fight a lot, I konw that I'll have the next for all I needed. She has flaws, but all humans have, too. She's very special for me.

We have bundless energy and we like meet new people. Wr bring joy to other people. We tend to get bored easily, because we like do things all the time. We can not be still.

In my opinion all the text say it's true in my case. Also agreed that the dolphin is my favourite animal since I was little. 
I think that this animal is this leters: ENFP, because they are very happy animals and very inteligents, too. Always stay jumping and singing. And sometimes they want to play. Are a lovely animals. 

I'M GRATFUL FOR...

Today in class we see a video of Lizzie Velasquez. 

I really impressed while she stay talking in front of a lot of people about his problem. She have a one of the worst disease of the world. And you see a Lizzie, and she stay happy, feels beautiful (that I don't say that she's not), and then I see arround me, and a lot of people ( include me ) if not to say all, have complexs and there's the world falls on himself. And then it be that Lizzie are so happy, that she have a lot of problems and her childhood it was not easy.

We should be happy only because we stay here, we are alive, we have friends, house to sleep...

In class we do an activity that we can say what you are grateful. Now I say with what I was grateful.

I'm grateful for to be healthy, have family and friends, a house in which to sleep, have a money to eat.... This list never ends. Because I think that all people should be greatful with they have. Because always you can have less.

     PRESENTATION (10%):
In this presentation we use a prezi, inside there was a video and photos. All the photos, vocabulary that we use in the prezi was about weddings. In the presentation I had a pice of paper for helping me if I left the words. The presentation lasted 15 minuts more or less. Each person spoke 5 minutes more or less. 
I think that my mark in this section was a 10% because the prezi was very well, beautiful power point (in my opinion).

     BODY LENGUAGE & EYE CONTACT (10%):
Most of time I satyed watching all the people of the class, but times I read of the pice of paper, because I needed for helping me if I left the words. When I was doing the presentation I didn't move arround the classe but I pointed the pohos and move some my hands.
I think that my mark in this section was a 8% because when I was doing the presentation I some readed. 

     STRUCTURE (10%):
When we did the presentation all the information are well structured, first we did an small introduction and then we explain the diferents types of weddings. 
I think that my mark in this section was a 10%.

     CONTENT (40%):
In the presentation, but understood very clearly, but I think it needed to give more examples of what was done in each type.
I think that my mark in this section was a 30%, because needed a little more explanation.

     LANGUAGE (20%):
The presentation, we made ​​good time and verbs we used connectors.
I think that my mark in this section was a 20%. 

     PRONUNCIATION & INTONATION (10%):
In my ompinion, I think that can improve pronunciation. Because when I get nervous costs me more. But most of the time, spoke confidently and decisively. But I always eat a little shame.

FAIRY TALE

Once upon a time, there was a football player called, Gerard and a seamstres girl called Maria. 
Gerard went in a shop. There he went to find a suit. At that moment he saw a beautiful girl, at the same time he started to feel something for her.
Gerard waited for the girl outside of the shop, and when she closed it, they started to talk.
 - Do you want something more? - she said
 - Yes, what's your name? - he asked.
 - Maria. What you need?
 - One momentplease, my phone is ringing. - he told her.
When Gerard finished to talk, he saw that Maria was gone.
A few days later, Gerard returned to the shop to take his suit. He ask for her and her workmates told him that she was free that day.
On the same night, they met in a disco and they started to talk and dance. At 4am, they left together outside and in there they saw a lot of paparazzis.
Next day in the morning, Maria saw her in the cover of the newspaper. When she went to the work, all the paparazzis stayed at her garden asking for Gerard and last night in a disco.
In the shop, she searched the number of Gerard and when she found it. Maria sent a whats app to him, to talk to her house, and Gerard invited in his house.
In Gerard's house:
 - Wow! Your house is beautiful. - told Maria.
 - Thanks, but could you see the newspaper? - ask Gerard.
 - Yes, is for this reason that I come.
 - Well, tha paparazzi began to gossip.
 - OMG! But, this rumors can be true...
Maria left out the house and suddenly, Gerard rau to her and then they kissed.
--- A year later. ---
The happy couple, got married in July and we could see what really happened...

Hy. I'm Mireia Bech. I'm a student of INS Castelló d'Empúries. 

I have 16 years old, I was born on 2 of January in 1997. I live in Castelló d'Empúries, specifically between Castelló i Empuriabrava. 

I have a hobby since a kid. I love dance, is what makes me life. I would like to study dance in the future, if possible near. 

But, I like others things, draw is very relaxing, for me. I don't know what I will do in the future, but now I think that in thid two years in batxillerat, help me think what career i want to study. 

I'm very happy person, but bervous, too. When I stay very very very nervous I have headache, and I bitr my nails, rather always bite my nails. I think that you now know a bite more as me.

This has beena tough year, but already upon finishing the stage of compulsory education, now start bulding your future, your daily bread, your work, your vocation...
Now separate the frindships we've done these last four years of secondarynschool, and each continues to follow this path.
This last year has been fun, has had more moments, but overall, I like the explications of each teachers, how to work... Everythingnhas been a experience, and I always remember this stage because it has undoubtedly been onenof the best I've experienced.
